CS 1950 Directed Research

Description

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to design a plan of study to be agreed upon by the student and a supervising faculty member. This course must be taken for three (3) credits to satisfy the computer science capstone requirement. Bioinformatics students can take the course for 1-3 (typically 2) credits.

  • Credits: Credits vary between 1 and 3 based on agreement with instructor.

Prerequisites

  • Registration for this course requires the written permission of a full-time faculty member and also of the Undergraduate Program Director.

Requirements and Grading

A completed CS 1950 form is required to enroll in this class. Only bioinformatics major can enroll in CS 1950 in the summer term.
